When Becka is not providing clinical care you can find her teaching at Montana State University where she is the Clinical Coordinator for the Psychiatric Mental Health Doctor of Nursing Practice program. Much of the focus of her teaching is in psychopharmacology, assessment and diagnosis of mental illness, ethics and law related to nursing/medical practice, APRN role and more. Becka is very passionate about the equal and adequate treatment of mental illness and has been fortunate to be involved in increasing the work force in Montana and across the nation through her work at MSU.
For fun, Becka enjoys spending time with her husband and their Australian Shepherd, Juniper. Skiing, hiking, fishing, photography and dog training are some of the activities she enjoys.
